Today as I eat my 100th salad in the past 9 months, karma reminds me again not to be a dick. Some time ago me and a friend of mine used to tease his girlfriend because she always complained about not being able to eat anything when we went out because of her Celiacs disease. We teased her that it was not a real thing and joked about going to the store and throwing bread crumbs and flour at people looking at the gluten free food. (I know, total dicks, right?). Yeah, well karma got me good. About 9 months ago I was diagnosed with, you guessed it, Celiacs disease. I don’t wish this crap on anyone. Going gluten free isn’t that easy. So many products have wheat in them or are processed in a factory that also processes products containing wheat. A gluten breakout is horrible. I honestly would rather have a kidney stone. At least you can get rid of that with a simple procedure.
So, there’s my funny for the day. You can laugh or you can say I was a total dick and deserved what I got. Both would be acceptable.
Uggh! My brain is trashed and I'm sick to my stomach. I need to sleep but I just lie wide awake with the world pouring into my mind cap. I've tried the 4-7-8 breathing technique, but results did not last long. I think I'll try the Wim Hof breathing method in a cold shower. A cryotherapy chamber would be nice but I don't have that kind of cashflow. I am considering buying an ice pod and chiller. Maybe I can freeze the Anxiety out. I've never felt better than after a Cryo session. Anxiety sucks the life out of you. I am broken today.
I saw your blog post, and your writing is awesome! I thought you might be interested to know that the next major feature I am working on for World of Anime is a Fan Fiction section.
This was in the original World of Anime, and we had some really great writers there too who wrote some great stuff. I thought you would like to know a feature specifically for writers will be coming soon.
It will allow you to post stories in chapter format, and even though it is called Fan Fiction, the stories can be either tied to an anime or original stories.
I hope you will enjoy this feature when I have it ready.

Read the "About World of Anime" page to read about the history of this site. It was once much larger (which presented its own set of problems) and had been on hiatus for the past 5 years up until very recently.
The site is in the middle of a "rebirth" so you are joining at a great time if you want to help the community grow.

So...I tried building my watchlist and most of the first ones I tried adding didn't come up when searched: Kill la Kill, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Made In Abyss, Freiren, Dan da Dan, Soul Eater, 86
Sorry about that. I had the public API for Jikan up, which gave great search results, but it has become unstable at this point and frequently not working. So I have replaced it with my own instance running on my server. It works, but the results are not that great. I am working on it now to try to tweak it to give better results.
I will post when it is working better. Thanks for being patient, and for all of your help and suggestions. I really appreciate it.
