Hi, my name is Samantha, and I deeply relate to Ryoko Otonashi from Danganronpa Zero. Even knowing that Ryoko is ultimately an alternate persona embedded within Junko Enoshima, I feel that Ryoko exists as a truly distinct individual. Her unique perspective, her struggles with memory and identity, and her pure sense of self make her feel like a completely separate soul from Junko’s overwhelming despair.

It is such a fun read! Diving into Zero really fills in so many crucial pieces of the puzzle before the first game, it gives you a whole new appreciation for how deep the despair actually goes. And I completely agree: Spike Chunsoft is sitting on a goldmine with those side stories, so having official English releases for all of them would be a dream come true. Until then, thank goodness for dedicated fan translators keeping the community alive! Speaking of which, how do you usually like to read fan translations when you dive into them? Do you prefer hunting down translated PDFs/light novel text files, or do you like finding visual-novel-style fan ports and video playthroughs with hardcoded subtitles? And yes... let's keep spreading that sweet, sweet despair throughout WOA! Upupupu! 🐻‍❄️🖤 I don't understand how to put photos in comments yet. ROFL
