It did cause most of us to go crazy with trying to rack up points. lol Oh man those were the days. I think it could be a fun system to bring back if done right and within the realm of your current goals. Instead of having a leaderboard page for points just keep our points on our profiles so no one goes crazy trying to aim for top place. It might encourage others to reach out more and get the site more active. It's one of those features where I completely understand why it was removed but it still had its charm.
