Your First Anime

What is the first anime you can remember watching? And what is the show that really got you into the genre? While I watched a lot of cartoons as a kid, I don't really recall watching any anime. I know I would watch the opening to Speed Racer, just because I liked the song, but then I would turn it off and didn't actually watch it. The show that definitely got me into anime was Sailor Moon.

Hell yeah! That sounds like a good idea to rewatch it one of these days, thankfully it's been so long since I last seen it that I barely remember much.
